French Early 19th Century Directoire Bronze and Crystal Chandelier

This fine French chandelier dates back to the 1820s and embodies the Directoire style with grace. It features a number of unique elements; the bronze crown is topped with a seldom seen feather design, square cut crystals are set on the diagonal in between two center rings, and the piece itself features an uncommon 9 lights on the center ring. The fixture is bronze and is both simply and delicately detailed. It features 8 rings in total, as well as octagonal cut, teardrop cut, and circular cut crystals along with the aforementioned square pieces.
