French 19th Century Louis XIV Bronze Chandelier

This gorgeous and unique Louis XIV chandelier is made of bronze and dates back to the 19th century. The French antique piece features a top decorated with detailed female herms alongside a bow ribbon motif. Moving downwards we see a fantastic reticulated bird cage like center draped with floriate garlands. The arms offer great movement with a shape unique to the Louis XIV style, and are decorated with flowing acanthus leaves. The piece is detailed, well balanced, and embellished with elements of nature throughout.
