This beautiful Transition style mantel of salmon marble dates back to the 19th century. The piece combines Louis XV and Louis XVI elements to feature a beautifully contoured shelf on a classic Louis XV apron. The front and sides are gracefully carved, producing a well balanced piece which highlights the naturally beautiful striations in the marble.
